Vegetarian Glass Noodles in sesame sauce
Ingredient List:
1/4 C.      
Garlic Sesame
Marinade & Glaze (Starport
209)
3.5 oz.     Glass noodles, bean
treads (1.5 oz. dried)               
1/8 C.      Red bell pepper, thin
strips (.5 oz.)
1/2 C.      Green cabbage,
shredded (4 oz.)
2 Tbsp.    Vegetable oil
Instructions:
1.        Soak glass noodles in warm water about 15 minutes until softened.
Re-hydrated weight is about double dried weight. Drain and rinse when
softened.
2.        Heat a non-stick pan on medium heat, when hot; add 2 Tbsp. oil
then glass noodles. Stir and cook until noodles become translucent.  
3.        Add in cabbage and red bell peppers sauté until cabbage is wilted.
4.        Add
Garlic Sesame Marinade & Glaze toss well and remove.
Glass noodles are made from green mung bean starch also known as,
cellophane noodles or bean treads. Commonly deep fried and use as a
garnish for Chinese chicken salad and Mongolian beef dishes.
